I listened to the audio and it was fun to hear Offerman's and Mullally's voices. But their tones and pacing felt lackadaisical and made the book drag. I didn't learn much about them as a couple, except that they enjoy doing puzzles together. If you have the audio, listen through the acknowledgments etc. because there's a bonus chapter.

I love both of them, and the audiobook is the only way to read this I think - their banter and humor comes through in ways I can't imagine it could in print. #relationshipgoals

I just adore them as a couple so much. They're so real and obviously hilarious, so a book with both of them is just a riot of a good time obviously. I'm forever obsessed with Nick's love for Megan and how eloquently he expresses it. And the way she makes him giggle!!! Stop it's so cute.

I really think this book would be best read as an audiobook WITH the physical. There's a bonus audio chapter, and the chapter where they have pictures in the book they hilariously describe in the audio.

Some really interesting parts or parts that I extra liked were about Megan in general because I didn't really know much about her backstory (apparently she's a huge reader) and the part about their dogs and how they do puzzles and listen to audiobooks together to keep things fresh lol. Oh and sexism in the entertainment industry with them as a perfect example of how it manifests.

My only deduction is super personal to me--I am very asexual and they are very much not 😂 so that chapter got a bit uncomfy for me.

I enjoyed learning a little bit more about Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman. I always enjoy a little bit of a inside scoop into the live of actors that I admire. The book was organized in such a way that, it felt like a podcast or magazine interview on different topics. Sometimes I found my attention wandering, but I pretty much finished it two sittings.

Meh. 2.5 rounded up. I enjoyed some aspects of the book, annoyed by others. Typical 'insanely busy celebrities, super overworked, but we take two months off every 1.5 years' storyline, but maybe I'm just being salty.

Funny, but found their writing voice annoying.
