Hot, hot, hot monster smut. Enough said. No, but seriously, this was an adorable, sweet, and spicy read with lots of fun tropes and lovable characters. It’s a really short read at just 101 pages, so everything happens rather quickly. On the one hand, we don’t have much time with the characters to dive deeper into more complex ideas and themes; however, it’s the briefness that makes it fun and low-angst. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a quick read, and I especially if you are just starting out with monster romances. It does get a little frustrating with the MFC getting herself into a pickle at the beginning, but once the two MC communicate, it’s smooth sailing from there… well sort of… you’ll see, just read it!

Short, cute, smutty, sweet! Amy and Adrian are a delight, even if there isn't a whole lot to their romance, and I love when the monster in a monster romance is more inhuman. A quick and delightful read!

I loved this so much!!!! There was so much cuteness and relatability in the couple. I ate up this book and definitely see this becoming a comfort read. The drama was brief and the lie that started it all wasn't all that bad of a lie. My poor dating bar just got even higher haha.

Like tentacles, I never thought I'd be comfortable reading a book that even DISCUSSED oviposition. Yet here I was, having read book 1 and 2 in Lillian Lark's repertoire and...WOW! Yes! Beautifully done.
There is no shame or awkwardness in the way Lillian Lark writes. She explains everything so it makes sense, there's no shame (kink shame or otherwise), and at this point...she is one of the FEW authors I trust with "unique" smut.
Thank goodness for TikTok's SmutTok. I seriously look forward to her next book.

I’m here because of Sanj and I’m so glad I am. Really think the flip of the biological imperative being on the male character here is so interesting and refreshing.
