Satisfying, if a little rushed, ending to this sci fi thriller trilogy.

Hugh Howey does a wonderful thing where he ends this story feeling hopeful and bittersweet and honestly left me in tears. He was a story of how humans destroyed the Earth and all the people living on it yet Juliette and her gang made me love what it means to be human and all the beautiful things we could make of life. This book was wonderful it truly was, but what really sold me was the ending - it left me full and satisfied. And I mean come on the entire series was an interesting topic and tied very well together. If you like Fallout or dystopian novels combine the two and you’ve got this series. Last thing I promise Juliette and Solo are badasses and deserve all the recognition.
R.I.P Luke -> free my man he ain’t done nothing wrong and deserved to live. ALSO YOU BRING IN DARCY JUST TO KILL HIM OFF AHHH.

I think this was a great conclusion to the series! My only complaint for all 3 books that keeps it from reaching 5 stars for me is the pacing can be quite slow and there’s some over explaining in parts of the story. I think that would appeal to others it just didn’t always work for me because it can really take you out of a story, especially during a scene with a lot going on. However, I really enjoyed a lot of this and the journey to get to that incredibly satisfying ending.
