"Lost Slipper" by C. Hallman and Monica Corwin is a hot and steamy fated mates, shifter short story loosely based on Cinderella. Abigail (h) leads a miserable life until Thorn (H) senses that she's in danger and comes to her rescue. Their first sexual encounter is non-con given that she's dying, and Thorn must do what needs to be done to save her life - during and after she is a willing partner. There is an age gap (H46/h18). This story uses some elements from Cinderella, but it's not your typical version of the classic fairytale. The erotic story delivers plenty of fiery action from a protective alpha male. Looking forward to the rest of the anthology.

This Review is for Twisted Debt
Elias is a business man that has no time for liars, cheaters or relationships. Zel is a nursing student that knows what she wants and will do anything for her family.
With a family that has many problems, Zel is locked in Elias' tower to pay for her families debts.
A short novella with light BDSM, I could not put this story down.

My review is for Beautiful Beast by Olivia Peters.

I absolutely love this retelling of Beauty and the Beast by Olivia Peters. This is not the story that us readers grew up on aka "Disney" version. Nope, this version is Showtime rated. I have read many books by Olivia, and they all bring the "steam", but I have to say this is by far the "steamiest" story of them all.

Adam was rough around the edges, but he was no match for Belle. She definitely won Adam over and that is when things really heated up. Not to say that the sexual tension before than was anything but HOT. If this is your first introduction to Olivia Peters, you are in for a great treat, and I can guarantee you will become a fan.

My review for Twisted Debt by Amarie Avant and Xavier Neal. I loved Zel and Elias story!! Definitely better than the original fairy tale. I received an ARC for my honest opinion. I'm looking forward to reading Once Upon a Broken Crown Anthology.

The Ties We Break by Emma Luna review:

The Ties We Break is an intriguingly steamy retelling of Beauty and the Beast! Belle and Declan are complete opposites but the attraction toward one another is instant. This is definitely a book that can draw out one’s wild side. There is so much to each of them and we still even have more to learn about Declan and Belle. I connected with Belle so much! It was like most of my life was being described. Emma Luna definitely wrote this for all the girls/women with the book boyfriends!

I am excited to learn more of Declan’s background as well as seeing Belle become more confident in herself! This is definitely a read to dive right into! I’m intrigued for more to come from these two!

⭐️Twisted Debt⭐️

Twisted Debt is part of a fairytale retelling anthology “Once Upon A Broken Crown” written by Xavier Neal and Amarie Avant. I believe It is a loose retelling of Rapunzel with the heroine Zel who has beautiful, long hair and is somehow coerced into a three-month relationship with a billionaire named Elias who happens to have an affinity towards beautiful woman with long hair. The story is fun and steamy with a happily ever after promise.
To summarize ;

Beautiful Beast by Olivia Peters

I love Beauty and the Beast! This was such an amazing version of it! I could not put the book down once I picked it up! It was so sweet and very hot. Belle is so strong and amazingly perfect for Adam. Adam is the perfect Beast, but the goodness in him is so beautiful!

Review for Lost Slipper by C. Hallman only:

Abigail, the female human lead, is mute and has been treated as a servant in her stepmother’s house as long as she can remember but, on her 18th birthday, her stepmother feeds her.

Thorn, the male bear shifter lead, has woken up with the pressing need to find something. As he follows his instincts, he finds Abigail, his mate, abducts her. But other people are determined to interfere with their relationship…

This story is dual POV, well written, and an interesting but incomplete story. It ends with a HFN but has many questions unanswered - the authors note they’ll release a full length story based on it later. Not sure I like this type of release because of the level of incompleteness but there is, at least, a resolution for the couple.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review
