Fun to read. I must admit I didn't care much for the earliest stories that didn't include the Shadowhunter families. Anytime you toss in a Herondale, though, I'm going to be listening intently. Most of the stories were great and I loved learning more and more about the families and Magnus's experience in his long, long life.

I really enjoyed reading this book! I have an especially hard time reading novella esq things, but I really enjoyed the content of this book.

This really really really made me want to re read tmi, even though I told myself I'd do it once I read everything else. It was so cool filling in the gaps in the life of Magnus Bane. I love that each one of the stories had been referenced by Magnus at one point or another.

I really love the inclusion of his friendships with Catarina, Ragnor, and OBVIIIII Raphael!! It made me extra sad about Ragnor, but I guess that was the point tbh. I would take 50000000 books about Magnus and his excursions.

I loved all of the stories, but my favorite part (Not story. Idk if i could pick one as a whole) was when Jocelyn brings Clary to his doorstep. It was such a beautiful full circle moment, especially because Tessa inspired 'Fray'! It was so sweet seeing her reminisce about Henry and Charlotte. I'm hsppy Jocelyn is a direct descendent of them esp tbh.

I also wanna talk about how much I loved the Raph backstory. It was so sweet seeing their friendship blossom and I even liked that Camille did not steal the show from Raph. I've always thought he was such a cool character and so lowkey, it was interesting seeing his familial ties!!

All in all, I loved this book!
