Such a promising start to the series and such an underwhelming conclusion with so many questions left unanswered. Also, the art was really funky on this one. It was very distracting.

Kind of sad that I’m done this series. This last book was the best!

A rushed ending with some technobabble taking over and a weird bit of American exceptionalism to cap it off. If you’ve ever wondered what Y The Last Man would have been like written by a more pedestrian writer then here’s your answer

The last chapter is a more generic sci-fi story, but the ending was quite well done. I think the intergalactic ending works quite well, especially with how the story was told over the last few volumes.

Huh.

For all this series' many flaws - its jingoism, its lack of focus, its inability to commit to tone - I actually quite liked that ending. It's surprisingly sweet and optimistic. The way there is rocky...but a good ending does wonders.

Vol. 6: The End was a little lwss than i was expecting it to be. I guess I was hoping for more in this final book. It was a goos read & the final pages did wrap things up, but I just wanted about 15 more pages. Great aeries overall!

After the stopgap "origin stories" collection of the previous volume, this was a nice return to the actual story, as well as a fitting end to this fantastic series.
