*Not a review, just a few thoughts that I want to jot down. I don't care for the heavy handed plot direction that starts off the story. It felt as if the writer had trouble trying to figure out how to get from point D to the very solid point H. The story is staying consistent in that it's mostly about Seph's growth and relationships. I really thought this one would open up more about the Vampire but it didn't really do that. At this point, I want to finish the series (that I know of) because I started it but I don't feel a burning passion for the words on the page.

The first book was good, the second I didn't really like. This one picked back up, but so far it's an uneven series. The series is getting bogged down in romance, which is draining the urban fantasy/action out of it.
