Book three in the series turns out darker and less witty than the first two, which takes away some of the fun of reading it. A few of the subplots (Valkyrie's home life, Billy-Ray Sanguine) are becoming a bit tedious. I still love these characters and want to know how everything turns out for them, but I'm not loving the series as much as I used to...

Glad things are picking up character wise, and that villain reveal though UGH I'm so mad I didn't see it coming 💀 definitely looking forward to reading the next book in the series, though I'm hoping it kind of switches it up a bit beyond running around to different places and then battling the boss in some place with the gang....
