This was a strong following for the past two book. The world is familiar yet developed beautifully through the writing. The ending is the most epic we have seen and honestly I had to take a deep breath when I had finished reading it. Each book is an amazing standalone, but within the series it make me want to rush to the next one.
Graphic: Death, Violence, Blood, Police brutality
Moderate: Body horror, Gun violence, Kidnapping, Car accident, War, Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Mental illness, Self harm, Vomit, Mass/school shootings, Medical trauma

Definitely a worthy end to the Faceless Ones trilogy. Would give this one more than 5* if I could because it's just so good.
The stakes were up higher in this book than in the first two, which I appreciated.
I'm so amazed by how much I love all of the main characters in this series. Valkyrie and Skulduggery have such a great relationship, China is complex and mysterious, and Tanith Low is one of my favourite characters of all time.
A lot of the villains are interchangeable and pretty shallow, but they serve their purpose.

Skulduggery Pleasant the faceless ones was a perfect end to the faceless ones trilogy. From returning character such as Skulduggery, Valkrie. Ghastly to new characters like Fletcher who became a fan favourite of mine by the dying of the light. This book had me unable to put it down. My favourite in this trilogy and looking forward to Dark days re read.
Didn’t see that ending coming at all. Now my question is where could the next trilogy possibly go given how this ended.
Number 3 in a fun young adult fantasy series with a fast-moving story line and lots of back story. This one may have been my favorite so far, as I really began to see the growing web of relationships within the overarching story. I enjoy the characters -- even some of the s0-called bad guys are rather likable and the protagonists are interesting, with complicated stories and motives. I leave each book wanting more and thinking about the world that is being created through this fantasy series. This one ended on a bit of a cliffhanger, and I'm anxious to devour the next book.
