I actually listened to this twice, because when it came time to review it I felt like I didn't pay enough attention to do it justice, because where was my enthusiasm of this incredible story that I loved when I read it.
So today I re-listened to it and finished it within a day. When I felt like I drifted I rewound (I actually had to look for the past tense of rewind) but still I ended up with not being able to give this more than 3 stars because somehow, someway it felt like the narrators sucked the life out of the story.
I still love Whit and Rainn. Their story still is a 5 stars read but I think the timbre of the narrators' voices just couldn't do it justice. The emotions where there just underwhelmed, Whit's vivacity dimmed. At least though the HEA came through as strongly and bright in the audiobook as much as in the book.

This is one of the best I’ve read by this author. Seriously this was the perfect amount of steamy, cute, sweet, with just a tiny sprinkle of angst. The audiobook was fantastic and I highly recommend it.

J'ai dévoré ce nouveau roman de Eden Finley, ce qui est plutôt bon signe, sachant qu'en ce moment je suis plutôt du genre à abandonner mes lectures en cours de route. Comme souvent, j'ai attaqué ce bouquin en n'ayant pas lu de résumé ni d'avis, du coup, j'ai découvert avec joie et gourmandise qu'on avait droit à un BFY + friends to lovers du tonnerre !
J'ai particulièrement adoré le début, quand Rainn est jaloux face aux hommes qui tournent autour de Whit et qu'il ne comprend pas ses propres réactions ! Ahlalala, qu'il est délicieux de lire ce genre d'histoire, où un homme se rend compte peu à peu qu'il en pince complètement pour un autre ... Ajoutons à cela toutes les autres ... découvertes (suivez mon regard concupiscent ... ^^).
Whit est tout mignon lui aussi, dans le genre chien fou, avide de nouvelles sensations et de nouvelles découvertes. C'est un jeune gars qui a la tête sur les épaules et sa relation au hockey change singulièrement de ce que j'ai l'habitude de lire : du coup, c'est surprenant et rafraîchissant de lire ça.
La romance est sexy et choupi comme j'aime, c'était vraiment pile le genre de lecture dont j'avais besoin, un truc fluffy, sexy et léger, et j'ai trouvé qu'Eden Finley se glissait vraiment très bien dans l'univers de Sarina Bowen. Bref, j'ai passé un moment délicieux en compagnie de ces personnages, et même si ça s'essouffle un peu en cours de route, je n'ai pas boudé mon plaisir !
