This was pretty good. I really liked the art a lot but obviously there weren't any big surprises. I can't remember if I've ever read the original so I was very curious how much of the text was the same.

It's funny because I thought it would have been really fun (but totally ridiculous) if Scrooge would have turned into the ultimate zombie killer and been totally armed to the teeth then wiped out the entire town.

This is an odd one... It's aimed at those already familiar with Charles Dickens' story (I can't imagine a green reader making heads or tails of this) but with zombies sprinkled in, as a physical representation of lack of Christmas spirit. I found the premise interesting enough to see it through to the end. The art is quite detailed, and I am enamoured with the lovely swirls of cloth and smoke.

What can I say? Visually, wonderful. Thematically, a garbage fire.

The Hungry Death

How appropriate. And appropriate to these days with an ever-expanding wealth gap.

If you've read many of my reviews, you know I like old stories with new twists, and this one's no different.

Though the end was a tad confusing, it helped when I read the stuff in the back about making the book - and then went back and read through the ending again.

Recommended if you like this Christmas story, or zombies, or both.

A very enjoyable take on Dickens's A Christmas Carol.

Well, that made a classic utterly dull.
