This was a really fun and easy read that I enjoyed from beginning to end. I'm so glad I waited until all three books were out because it does end on a cliffhanger, and a big one at that.
Overall:
The story was very fleshed out and well written. The world building wasn't a lot but at the same time it was just enough to keep you wanting to read to find out more. I loved all of the characters and the premise.
Characters:
I really loved Cait. I thought she was a really relatable character and she is a fighter which is always the type of MC I gravitate toward when reading books like these. Her and Embry's friendship is my favorite (one to be jealous of). I love the way Heather wrote the conflict in her, I thought it was well done and not overly dramatic as I've seen before.
Roman was dealt a shitty card. Young Alpha, mate is a human (sort of), your pack was threatened by another, so many crappy situations and he seems to handle them well. Especially the rejection. Which honestly? I wish I could have seen more of. Overall I feel like as this story progresses I will grow to enjoy him more. But I do think the angsty attraction between Cait and Roman is fabulously done!
Pace:
Pace was a bit slow for me but not in a bad way. I think what bothered me the most was that nothing really happened. I know the first book is supposed to set up the story, and that makes total sense, but this just felt like a beginning. The big conflict came right as the cliffhanger did and it was rather disappointing. HOWEVER, since I had the second one? I was really fine with it so I didn't take away any stars or anything for it. That and I really do think the story itself was great and I was sucked in from the first few pages.
Overall I give this a 4.5 and can't wait to crack open the next one now! Great job by Heather!!!

DNF at about 60%… the main character is so annoying and makes the book miserable with her constant whining. I’m not invested in the relationship at all and I should’ve quit sooner.
I recently purchased a kindle and with it came a free trial of Kindle Unlimited and this was the first book I picked up on it. Cait is a babysitter for a family in Australia but on her day off, swimming in the water she feels a sharp pain and a mysterious mark appears on her wrist. She quickly tells her best friend who books a flight for her to come visit asap and she’s thrown into the world of the paranormal, where wolf-shifters and witches are real. Her best friend is a wolf shifter and Cait soon finds out she’s mated to the Alpha of her friend’s pack, Roman.
I quite liked this, I was looking for a good wolf shifter romance and this was a good start to one. I really like Roman and the rest of his pack, the concept of the wolves and how they life in packs was interesting. Unfortunately I did find Cait a bit annoying at times, but I liked Roman enough that I kept rooting for them and for her to give him a chance. I will be continuing the series and reading the next one!

It has only been a few days since I finished this book and I already want to read it again! The wait for the next book is going to be excruciating!
Cait is such a strong character, I really enjoyed how Cait didn't just jump into this willing to accept everything. She fought her circumstances and didn't just accept the mate bond right from the get go and that added so much more to the story. I loved her interactions with Roman. He is that strong alpha type but he is so patient with Cait its wonderful! I can't wait to see how he handles things in the next book! This does have a cliffhanger but it was so good and you should still read it!
If you loved shifter books you need to add this to the top of your list because it was amazing and kept you engaged the whole time.

I am seriously in love with Roman and Cait!!!! This is my new favorite book, so amazing from start to finish. This is a completely fresh and new take on wolf shifters and mates. Cait is definitely my favorite type of FMC to read. She is feisty, resourceful and determined, to live her life, her way! I can't wait for people to read a d fall in love with this story, like I have. #romanismineIlickedhimfirst So on another note Roman easily jumped into my favorite Alpha wolf males category and stands on his own, he is yummy! So ladies and gents please read this book you won't be sorry!!!
Hate the FMC
So, really did not like the FMC, starts off she is a nanny in charge of someone’s children, so you would think that she is mature, responsible, can make a decision person. I would hope she was,cuz she was in charge of children. But she gets this mark on her wrist and she drops everything on guidance of a BFF that she met over internet and had never met in person and flies to her house. But has a hard time making a decision about a mate and that she is not human. Even after everyone, even that bestie that she dropped everything for and followed her directions tells her she is not human, she still in her own little selfish world. At this point I hope she is forced bonded with the bad guy that treats her like crap. But the story is grammatically correct, but world building was lacking, and Roman needs a different mate choice….liked everyone but the FMC herself.

I'm not gonna completely dogpile on this book, however, this just wasn't for me--barely any romance, slow plot, and what started as an interesting character really ended up fizzling out for me. And I'm starting to come to a point where I hate when books like this ends on a cliffhanger.
Slow burn and shifter mates
Oh my gosh!! First off, what a cliffhanger! I need the next book ASAP and I have so many questions that I’m hoping to have answered in the next book
Wolf Kissed is a fated mated wolf shifter paranormal romance involving Cait, a human who all of a sudden is thrown into a new world she had no clue about and Roman, an alpha of his wolf pack who will do anything for his mate and pack.
Cait is this free spirited curious and sassy Heroine while Roman is a sweet mate and a dedicated leader of his pack. Their tension is off the charts and building! The slow burn is real in this book haha
I really loved how this shifter romance isn’t an instant wam bam thank you ma’am but instead the Heroine is trying to figure out her new life and what she wants. I really loved how sweet Roman was and I can’t wait to see him and his feelings in the second book. The side characters were so supportive and funny, I love great side characters with possible promise of their own book. I have so many questions and thoughts and I need book 2 to figure out what’s gonna happen next!

2.5, round up
This book is 295 pages long and basically nothing happens until the last 5 pages, when some action finally happens so that the book can end on a cliffhanger. I'm serious. The h & H meet in the first chapter. Then she spends the whole rest of the book whining and denying their bond and he spends the whole time pining and telling her he wants her. Nothing else progresses, develops, or happens. It's repeat, repeat, repeat. And it's all just so ridiculous. She'd only even known about shifters for about two weeks, about the mate bond for a single week. That she hadn't accepted it yet isn't surprising or anything to base life decisions on. So, it all felt blown out of proportion.
I liked the writing. The editing was clean. The world seems interesting. But I don't know that I'll continue the series. I get the feeling every book will cover equally little ground and then end on a cliffhanger. I just can't be bothered.
