A really good overview of the paradigms of cancer and how they all fit together.
A little dry but some interesting facts in there too. I've heard so much of his stuff second hand from Jeff (who is a tad obsessed). Only a little bit on fasting and the importance that autophagy can have on weight loss, overall health and helping to limit the occurrence of cancers. Worth a read for anyone who hasn't read his stuff before.

'The Cancer Code' takes readers on an intriguing journey in the understanding of this ever more widespread disease - thereby challenging the conventional wisdom of cancer as a genetic disposition and frames it as a rather metabolic one instead.
The writing is really accessible and the structure well thought-out, thereby giving an excellent, scientific overview of this horrible, yet fascinating disease.
The book if very compelling and informative, providing fresh insights on the impact of nutrition and lifestyle, but should be read as part of a wider understanding of cancer research and in consultation with healthcare professionals.

Outstanding book, would recommend to everyone who has been touched by cancer. Although difficult at times ( understanding the physiology, and thinking of family with cancer), the education received from this book was just jaw dropping. A whole new way of understanding WHY cancer is. Wow.
You might guess a good book when around 30% of it are references to researchers, articles and so on.
Here we have a complete down to earth story of the king of all diseases. Clear, logical and nicely put together. It brought calm understanding and hope for the science advancements to come.

Absolutely the most lucid, informative book on cancer I have EVER read.
