Dare I say YA romantasy is better than Adult Romantasy.
Loved the conclusion to The Shadows Between Us Duology. I didn’t think it was possible, but I loved Crysantha’s redemption and her story.

This was such a fun, addicting YA fantasy romance.
Chrysantha is such a headstrong character. She cares so much for those working for her but is also not afraid to go for what she wants and do what she wants. I really liked seeing her trying to fix the relationship with her sister.
Eryx is such an intriguing character and has a lot of mystery surrounding him. At first I didn’t like him because he acted like an ass but then as you learn more about him and see a different side to him you do like him more. I was intrigued throughout to find out what he was hiding.
The plot had me intrigued throughout and I didn’t wanna put this book down. I also love the world this is set in, to me it has kind of loose ‘bridgerton ish vibes’
I also love seeing the characters from ‘The shadows between us’. Seeing how their relationship is doing and having little cameos within this book.
I really enjoy Tricia levenseller books. She writes such fun and addicting YA fantasy romance books. I always enjoy the books and have a hard time putting them down.
Would defo recommend her books in general, not just this book and series.

Was good, exactly what I expected from it. Some parts were annoying in terms of miscommunication just for the sake of it but it was resolved pretty quickly. The banter was fun, I just wish we got to find out more about the world building. But big yay for an ambitious female character who takes what she wants and gets what she wants.
