Absolutely delightful, and I love the sneak peeks into Alessandra as queen.

Okay so like…what the hell was this book? A fury, really? Also where was the chemistry…I have no other thoughts besides the fact that I almost threw up while reading this.

enjoyed this a bit less than book 1. This one read very much like a historical romance. Most of their time I spent in the manor house, and with all the business of inheritance and fighting over the dukedom, it felt very much like an historical. Just with an added bit of magic. There were also appearances from Alessandra and Kallias.

I enjoyed this for the most part. I enjoyed the added freedoms to women, and the queer-normative society. But Chrysantha drove me crazy! She was so dense! She didn’t admit her feelings until almost the very end of the book. It was a bit much and really tried my patience.
