Absolutely loved this story. This is Bk2 in the New Reign Mafia Duet and I am here for all the thing's. The more I read from this arthurs stories the more I fall in love with her writing.
You need to have read Bk1 Love of a Monster first as this story picks up where the 1st book left off at with Kate proving that she could be the Queen and worthy of Roman. This girl gah and her sexy man you can't help but fall more in love with these 2 and boy talk about those steamy af smexy scenes. This is definitely a one click must read.

This duet was superb. Katie’s confidence and strength was challenged when she tried to tied 3 large powerful entités together and prove she wasn’t to be preyed upon. Her relationship with Rome grew and they both showed how ready they were to spill blood for what they loved.

First and foremost Katie is THAT BITCH!!! She has all the men falling to their knees for her and I love that for her. Even though I knew better I was really hoping for there to be something more between her and Bastian. I fucking squealed when Bastian asked if he would get to taste her after all. I really wish she was the one to kill Ivan, even though it was definitely a necessity for the Bratva men to prove their loyalty to her.

My only real complaint about this was her wanting to spare Mario, I feel like she should have wanted him to die slowly and painfully like Jimmy.

I’m not usually a fan of mafia romances, but this one pulled my heart strings. Katie is soooo strong willed and confident. I just loved her. And Rome.. *swoon*
