Of course, I would have to read the ending to this duology because I was really curious to see how their story ended. Plus, I wanted that whole baby angle that I saw in the TikTok video, and none of that happened in the first book. Even though we have a bigger focus on their relationship, I felt like their relationship was really forced. By this book, they didn't even really have a reason to see one another, and it wasn't until there was a baby that they were forced to be together. I really enjoyed the first book more. I liked the tension, and I liked that it was in the background instead of being the main focus. I just feel like this book wrapped all the criminal stuff up really fast.
