This book was a little too smutty for me. I understand the reasoning behind it as it is meant to emphasise the post-apocalyptic setting created but there were more sex scenes then actual story content and it was just a bit much for me. If it was not for the last third of the book where the story line trumped the sex, I would have rated the book two stars. I thoroughly enjoyed the various characters as well as the plot of the story and I am glad that each book in this series focuses on the different characters.
A 3.5 stars for this. This was surprisingly not bad. It reminded me of Olivia Cunnings' "Sinners on Tour" series without the corny metal band context.
So before starting this book I noticed a lot of reviews comparing it to another Dystopian erotica that I loved by Kit Rocha, the Beyond Series. While there are similarities, this is a completely different world. Claimed is definitely more sex than plot but trust me you will not be complaining. The plot points are interesting, I liked both the MC's and would absolutely like to read a book exploring what's up with Kade and Xander. Elle Kennedy has a great writing style that never leaves you bored, and the smut is smoking hot.
Claimed had a lot of good in it, but it also had so much sex I started skimming in places... which is not what I usually do.

Hot dystopian erotic romance. I wish Hudson had been a bit more honest from the outset but other than that, it was a solid book.
