Aghhhh! Dreadful ending made me cross that I had read the whole thing to get there! Not up to the standard of the other books I've read of his. Glad I only paid 50p for it at a charity shop.

I have to stop reading Grisham. I have read every one of the legal thrillers and they are all the same. Even worse, they have started having terrible endings. Although I really can't say that about this one because I didn't get to the end. I got very bored after the standard introduction of the bad guy and the hapless schlub who is going to lose everything because he wanted to get in on the action. I really want to see these books go back to the days of The Firm, Runaway Jury and The Street Lawyer.

This was just ok. The ending was a little un-formula but overall, eh.

Grisham is the best at legal thrillers. It is exciting to read but he's a bit too obsessed with the consumers-againts-enterprises topic.
