I absolutely hate the prince for revealing Nettle. Since Assassin's Quest that has been the only thing that Fitz wanted for himself. He gave himself entirely to the Farseer line but they wouldn't let him have that either...I get that there were dangers to leaving her untrained but she has managed fine this far. I also hate the fact that this book reverses so many of the key decisions from the first trilogy in order to give Fitz happiness

A poignant and beautiful conclusion to the story of Fitzchivalry Farseer. I wept at the end of it, and kept weeping on and off for the whole day. Such a powerful series, with beautifully developed characters and astonishing challenges.
