Another Robin Hobb book, another 5 Star rating. I love these books. LOVE them. I don't really have a lot to say that I've not already said. I love how the interplay between all the characters is so complicated, but not confusingly so. I love all the different levels to all the relationships. I just love them.

some serious pacing issues but everything else about this book is just flawless. fitz!!!!!
The Tawny Man series was perfection. My heart was in my throat the whole last book. Knowing that I have 7 books left in the RotE gives me comfort but I tread forward warily. Robin Hobb, you destroy me in all the right ways. I'm already eternally grateful.

This was my favorite book of all 6 of them. I don't even know what to say about it, except that only 2 books have ever made me cry, and this is one of them. I am so emotionally done right now, but I loved it all the same. So rich in detail, characters so well fleshed out. I almost want to go back to the beginning and start it all over again, but I only started book one in late March. Definitely worth the time I spent, I think it was definitely one of the best I've read in a while.
I couldn't put this book down until the last few chapters, then I had to force myself to finish.
I am tired of Fitz's internalised homophobia.

"I am content"
As much as I love Fitz and Fool together, the journey of Fitz to finally find peace is the most beautiful thing I have ever read.
The whole series was such an improvement from Farseer Trilogy, and this is probably my favorite series of all time. Never have I felt such deep emotions for anyone's introspection and journey. I love it. I am happy for Fitz. I miss the Fool.

I can’t even begin to say how much I loved this and how many times I cried.
I am so so sad this trilogy is over. Once I finish this series there is going to be a big hole in my heart for sure.
