Really interesting novella that adds depth to the original Mistborn trilogy. A little disjointed and oddly paced at times, but a quick read with lots of helpful backstory.

There's always another secret.

This has all the spoilers. Read only after The Bands of Mourning and not a minute before.

“A good crewleader is always sure of himself, even when he isn't. Especially when he isn't.”
― Brandon Sanderson, Secret History

Secret History is a Mistborn mini story that explores the story of Kelsier following the events of the first book. Secret History offers the reader a great opportunity to revisit the old stories and see them in a new light, offering explanations and more depth to the story you thought you knew and promising some interesting mysteries and revelations for the Wax and Wayne stories going forward.

Overall, a great must-read for any fan of the Mistborn series.

This one had three stories;
Secret History was amazing. Seeing Kel again was nice, even if the end was very, very frustrating.
I'll never stop loving and hating the guy.
The Eleventh Metal was an interesting look into Kel's life. It was very short and I wouldn't have minded a longer look.
Allomancer Jack and the Pits of Eltania was... interesting. I wasn't expecting that.

I finally read this since there were some *clues* about RoW stuff here and if I'm spoiled for Mistborn Era 2, it's all Navs fault. It was worth though, so many interesting tidbits here. Also it made realize I really need to reread Era 1 ha.
