This book was ridiculous. I gave it two stars because I finished it, but I can’t say I really enjoyed it.

This might be my favourite book of 2024. Probably tied with Madness by Shantel Tessier.
I heard that this was a queer story, but initially I was a little confused because it was between Rachel and Jake. And then we meet Caleb, who has a thing with Rachel. But it comes in later and I was like OH.
So many surprises in this book, but not bad surprises.
Ilmari is so brooding, I loved it.
There's TONS of spice, angst and tension, found family vibes, and emotional moments that had me tearing up. A true Canadian girlie, I’m a sucker for a hockey romance.
This book is definitely going to live rent free in my head for a while.
