Okay, this might just be me embracing some serious brainrot, but I ate this book up. Not usually a sports romance reader, but the audiobook was there, so I thought, why not? Starting with the novella was perfect because I got to meet Rachel and Jake and fall for their meet cute. Then suddenly we’re in Caleb’s POV, and later Mars shows up, and I was a little confused, but honestly, that’s on me for never reading descriptions.

At the end of the day, this book is all about the vibes. The spice, the relationships, the banter, it was fun. Rachel’s your classic pick-me “I’m not like other girls,” but I was more invested in Jake, Caleb, and Mars anyway. My only gripe? The talk about puck bunnies. For a book this sex-positive, why the shade toward women going after attractive, wealthy athletes? Overall, a guilty pleasure I definitely enjoyed.

Emily, Emily, Emily you have started this series with a bang (literally). This book was absolutely amazing, I don't think it could've been better if you tried. The spice is off the charts and the plot, chefs kiss. I am so happy that you let Jake and Caleb grow together and that Mars got the stick out of his ass to join the fun. Highly recommend to anyone who likes RH. Top tier, 10/10 would recommend!
