Did Tessa Bailey write a nice, silly, leading man who wears bow ties? Yes she did. A cute and quick read of new beginnings, holiday vibes, and the dirty talk you’ve come to expect from our gal TB.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were simple yet still had little quirks to make them more complex. This story is about new beginnings and accepting one’s faults and the love others give; add in a somewhat steamy, age gap, work romance and you get this wonderful short read to get you in the Christmas spirit.

Mixed thoughts on this. Positively I loved the depth of the heroin, I felt she had a good personality and I was intrigued by her character. This was also a fun, seasonal read which added to the joy.
Window Shopping by Tessa Bailey
Tis the season for holiday romances, and I’ve been reading a ton of them! This book has been sitting on my TBR for over a year now, and I finally started it. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved the characters. The grumpy/sunshine trope has always had my heart, but I really loved this book’s take on that. I believe that everyone deserves a second chance and this book provided that to the FMC. I loved the character growth and the window dresser role. I felt that this book was a great holiday romance with a unique spin on the story!

Stella walks past a Christmas shop window when she's let out of prison and trashes the look to the man standing next to her -- and he's the owner of the store. He likes her ideas and encourages her to apply for a window dressing position at the establishment. It's Stella's dream job, so she can't mess it up by falling for the super hot owner or by letting her record become public knowledge. But this is a romance novel, so we all know what's going to happen before the happily ever after...
Not the best of Bailey's work, but a nice Christmas read.
Representation: formerly incarcerated main character
I received an electronic galley copy of this title from the publisher through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was boring. It was super unrealistic, I’m usually able to suspend my disbelief for reading, but this was just over the top unrealistic. The insta love was so cringey. I usually enjoy Tessa Bailey, but the descriptions in this were too much for me. It’s just a hard no for me.
