Tessa Bailey

3.52 AVERAGE

Tessa Bailey did it again. I really enjoyed that this book was a modern-day setup just after the pandemic, that the characters were coming back from things and that they weren't super young, sometimes the early 20s romcoms give me the ick. Aiden is a golden retriever in the best ways and his "gentleman in the streets, freak in the sheets" was so good. Loved his dirty talk with Stella. Her reluctance felt warranted after what she went through and this was less grumpy/sunshine, more forbidden love/workplace romance than anything. I enjoyed this for exactly what it is, probably a 3/5 on the spice scale with detailed spicy scenes, but not overused.

If you’re looking for a quick, cute, smutty romance read for the holiday season: this is your girl. My biggest complaints are that the plot was relatively boring for most of the book and some of the smut was a *little* cringey, but Tessa Bailey always promises a good time.

Thank you Tessa Bailey for my new bow tie fetish 😂

The perfect holiday romance to warm your heart! Tessa Bailey’s Window Shopping delivers a charming, festive love story that’s as sweet as hot cocoa and as cozy as your favorite holiday sweater.

Stella and Aiden are pure opposites with irresistible chemistry. Stella’s sarcastic honesty and Aiden’s cheerful optimism make for a fun and electric dynamic—she’s got a difficult past, while he’s all warmth and positivity, creating that perfect opposites-attract magic. Bailey weaves in humor, warmth, and just the right touch of spice to keep you grinning and turning the pages.

The holiday backdrop adds so much sparkle, from the bustling streets of Manhattan to the gorgeous window displays that bring Stella and Aiden together. It’s a heartfelt journey about second chances, self-discovery, and taking risks—all wrapped up in a swoon-worthy romance that’s impossible to put down.

If you’re looking for a feel-good holiday read with a sizzling romance, this is it. Stella and Aiden’s story will have you smiling, laughing, and totally hooked!
