It was definitely a well written book, but I wasn’t a fan of a lot that went on in it.

Kambili is a shy girl who only wants to do her best. She goes to school, goes to church, and studies hard in between. Sometimes, though, even this is not enough.

Mark this one down as depressing, because even the good parts are a little sad. Trigger warnings for abuse, violence, and almost pedophilia.

I wouldn't want to see a movie of this, as even the ending is a bit too ambiguous.
