See I'm between 3.5 and 3. AAHHHHH!! Goodreads get a .5 option.

There were some parts I loved!!! And then there were some parts that I could skip over and not care. I did love the fact that everyone in this book was a part of the LGBTQ+ community so I'll be telling people about this book when pride month rolls around.

You know what let's go with 3.5 because bro the ending was a bit over dramatic. Carol can rot in hell for all I care. This was the FIRST book that was "fandom arc" that I gave a chance to but hey, now I know it'll be the last bc it wasn't my cup of tea.

Although a beautiful book with such lovable characters and beautiful and eye opening themes we are not used to seeing in the media (strong platonic relationships, people not wanting to go to college, Fandom as a main premise...) I just feel it wasn't quite for me (although I read it in record time). Also, I noticed some inconsistencies while reading, seeing as I'm a rather picky reader (i.e. in earlier chapters 2 characters would have a convo about something but in later chapters the author will have forgotten they had hay convo and rewrite it or repeat something as if it hadn't been visited before, this happens multiple times). But, again, regardless of that, the themes of the book are so important and so dear that this book is something I definitely will he recommending to friends.

The story absolutely destroyed me! I loved it and could really resonate with Frances.

I thought it was a great story! It was very sad near the end but ended up even better than i thought and I’m glad it didn’t end how i thought it was going too.
