There’s a lot about faith and God in this collection, so it isn’t exactly up my alley but there were a lot of moments to connect to (which is how I tend to relate to poetry anyway). Admittedly, a lot of this was a bit out of my reach. Chris is super smart. Like, SUPER smart. I needed to look up some words.
Anyway, this was an enjoyable, thoughtful read. I think the second section probably had my favorite poems and was the part I engaged the most with.
