Brigid did a great job of creating a fast-paced and super-consumable story. The series is a classic YA fantasy—a little unbelievable but so fun to read. You cannot help but root for her characters, partially because the antagonists are cartoonishly evil.

I love this series and while I’m sad to be at the end. It was so worth it. I loved it. Harristan’s growth and realizations were my favorite. And Tessa and Corrick never cease to be adorable.
