Me ha gustado mucho esta novela. Se te ponen los pelos de punta con la historia, sobre todo porque sabes que es real, y parece increíble que haya podido suceder toda esta historia.
Angustiosa y conmovedora al mismo tiempo. Muy recomendable.

Overall good book, but not quite as good as similar themed books I’ve read.

This book is heartbreaking in all the ways you would expect given the title. It is also full of hope and finding happiness in all the despair. It has everything you would think and more. It was well written and have multiple stories within the one. It’s not a happy story, it is one that needs to be heard and discovered.

Als boekenliefhebber sprak de liefde die Dita koestert voor haar boeken me enorm aan. Ze bewaart en waakt over ze als echte schatten omdat zij net als ik weet dat boeken mensen kunnen helpen op de momenten dat ze het moeilijk hebben. In de harde wereld van concentratiekampen kunnen ze troost bieden en de lezer wegtoveren naar een betere wereld.
