4.25 stars. This book was highly engaging, intense and quite intricate. Whilst I enjoyed it, I do agree with other readers and reviewers in regards to the ending. I would've been a lot more disturbed if the story continued down the abusive relationship route. I also dislike how Andrew hadn't seen any evidence of a change in Charlie before forgiving her destructive behaviour. She hadn't attended the therapy sessions prior and lied about it before. Though I won't lie, the last scene did manage to tug on my heart strings.
