When Waterhouse press announced that they’d picked up Angel Payne Lord of Sin series, I was ecstatic! I’ve been on a massive Angel Payne binge for the last few months and I’d actually just finished the last available book to her collection so I couldn’t help but go and start this series and as expected Ms. Payne has gone and blown my mind!

Trade Wings is book 1 of Lords Of Sin Series and oh my god, what an incredible start it is.. It’s certainly not something I’d normally read but I’m so glad I took the chance. This series isn’t exactly as heated as most of Angel Payne’s other books but it’s still got so so much to offer. It takes you on a magnificent journey and it holds your attention from start to finish.

Golden parents were killed when their boat was hijacked and invaded by pirates of Athena, she’s force to find a new home, and ends up with the Arawak Tribe. Mast is the caption of Athena and he’s got one hell of a tribe. Years pass and she’s asked to stay with her new adoptive father, in that time she finds out it was in fact Mast and his tribe that killed her parents so many years ago. This lands Golden in the worst position in her life, the man she’s in love with, Mast, is and has always been the person responsible for her parents death. She’s torn. She’s stuck. She’s messed up. And rightfully so.

This book was something completely different for me, and I found I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was an awesome change to what I’m use to. Angel Payne has a way of doing that for me. She pushes boundaries and she’s not afraid of trying new things and I’m so thankful for that because i end up discovering a side of romance I’d never even considered I’d like.

I can’t wait to start book two!
