Suprisingly the part of this volume I wasn‘t really looking forward to, the Civil War II tie-in, turned out to be the part I liked the most. The first few issues did not seem that interesting to me, but things got a lot more interesting as soon as Old Man Logan shows up. The dynamic between Laura, Gabby and Logan was really nice and gave the story a lot more emotional depth. I also liked how the Civil War II storyline was incorporated it fit really well into the story.

Additional star because Laura is bae.

Laura gets her big sister on as she decides to take in a younger clone of herself. This has been the only thing tied to the shit fest that is Civil War II that was not garbage. Plus, her "fuck the police" attitude gave me such life.

3.5 stars. I really am sick of Civil War II and all the tie ins, but at least these authors seemed just as sick of them as me.

I hoped for more of a father/daughter story, but still really enjoyed this!
