Here I was, thinking I've got it all figured out. I actually thought that by the ending of July. I can tell you, I did not expect this ending. This definitely was a plot twist for me! I really am curious about what will happen during September.

Mia goes to Texas for August to pretend to be the sister of Maxwell Cunningham. Max is an oil magnate whose father left 49% of his company to a half-sister that Max did not know existed. Apparently, his absent mom had a daughter. Mia is OK with pretending but Max and his wife, Cyndi, act weird. We learn that Mia is in fact Max's half sister. And, her sister Maddy is a full sister. Max wants nothing more that to have a family with his sisters. He is especially protective of Mia. This book continued the theme of love, this time for family. It took the story in a very different direction. I enjoyed it.

This book was quite riveting. Much more plot and story than some of the others. There's big shockers in it for Mia and her family. Not too much Wes, which was a bummer, but she's still thinking of him all the time and wanting to make it work with him, which is promising.

Can't say too much more without spoiling stuff, but if you've enjoyed her journey this far, you'll enjoy this book too. So much more substance!

Ok, this is getting ridiculous. A man, around your age, is searching for someone with your name, and your birthdate that could be a half sister and you don't CONSIDER it, even after remembering him in a dream?!

I liked the first 6 of these books, for the most part, but 7 & 8 have just have a TON of stupid shit. And really, Maddie too to not see it? Really disappointed that these characters were painted to be so stupid!

UGH! Think it's time for a break, if I go back to finish these out at all.
