Will I read the next book in this series? Probably. I won't go into it expecting much though. Just as I did not expect much from this one. The AI cover annoyed me. Why are her boobs in two different directions? The idea of the vampire knitting club was charming. But you really have to suspend disbelief and walk around the plot holes here.

The people who knew your grandmother was murdered had nothing to say when it was announced she died peacefully in her sleep? Your cousin straight up walked over your unconscious body, SAW YOUR ATTACKER, and still decided it was a good time to steal your grimoire. AND knowing that she did this, you're still on some "We're family let's get to know each other"????

I listened to the audiobook which helped me finish it. It is a decent palate cleanser.

The story had some charming moments, but ultimately, it felt a bit excessive in its cuteness. Unfortunately, the multitude of plot holes left me feeling unsatisfied and frustrated with the overall narrative.
