Eine sehr süße cozy Geschichte.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. The rating is pure vibes! This would be what I read first thing in the morning and just before going to bed. The story was quite captivating, although I am not an expert in mystery, so I’m easy to captivate :D

As a witchy woman who recently took up knitting, this is the perfect comfort read!
I listened to this while knitting and it was just so delightful to be able to recognize terms, visualise the yarns and actually understand what's going on!
While I wish the book would've gotten more into the vampires, it hasn't done too bad with world building for such a short book.
It is somewhat predictable, but honestly, that was to be expected.I definitely didn't see Peter Right (?) being the murderer! I suspected Violet or possibly Sylvia!
I also feel like the trial for the grimoire was a bit rushed. What has Violet been training for years if Lucy can just be told she's a witch and voilà: she can make things happen without a hitch. I personally prefer the type of magic system that drains new wielder. It makes more sense to me and I think it would've been fitting here.
This book is a cozy little murder mystery with a magical element, but it felt a bit too rushed for all the plotlines that got introduced. Kind of like someone successfully having completed their first row of knitting only to immediately cast off again.
Even so, I liked the book and really hope the lore gets built on more in the subsequent books. Only one way to find out though... :p

Lucy Swift goes to visit her grandmother, but when she gets there she finds out her Grandmother has died. Lucy invherits her grandmother's knitting shop, Cardinal Woolsey's.
Then it turns out that Gram was murdered, but isn't really dead, she is undead and has been turned into a vampire.
Now it's up to Lucy to figure out who killed her grandmother and why. The only problem is she doesn't know who to trust, including her Gram's vampire friends who have their own knitting club.
This book was awesome and I'm really looking forward to reading more in the series and getting to know more of the characters in the book and their back stories as well.
