Narrator: Callie Dalton did a fabulous job narrating this audiobook, and the bonus chapter narrated by Teddy Hamilton was absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS.
Story: This was so much fun!!! I've never read a professor/grad student romance, and I think it was executed quite well. I'm always going to be a sucker for some fake dating, and this one definitely delivered on that front. The only thing I didn't like about this book was the secondhand embarrassment I felt when Olive did or said literally anything during the spicy scenes...but Adam was clearly still interested, so who am I to judge? Anyway, I am SO excited to see this book make its way to the big screen. I think it's going to make a fantastic movie!

The relationship was odd and he should’ve title 9’ed her the second she kissed him. The romance at the end was weird too.
If I were a publisher, I’d read this and think “This was a great first draft”

tykkäsin! kivan lempee ja hassu.
This was the best standalone book I read in 2021. I absolutely loved the representation of badass women in STEM, Olive serves as a role model for aspiring young adults and acknowledges the real hardships that women in all fields currently face. Ali Hazelwood is somehow able to combine a comforting feel good tone while not shying away from the aspects of life that often aren't shown in media. I laughed, cried, and smiled throughout the book. I loved Olive as a character and felt like the socially awkward nerd in me connected to her in a really special way. I read the book in one sitting and it is such an easy and fun read regardless of your circumstances.
