Continued reread, this little novella begins in 1941-1943 and two weeks in 1739. Jerry MacKenzie is given an intelligence mission by Captain Frank Randall, but while on a training mission in Northumberland his plane crashes and when he wakes, the plane is gone and he’s lying at the base of standing stones. He meets an unfortunate farmer who beats him, steals from him, and is rescued weeks later by two nameless men who bring him back to the standing stones…

2) Learn more about Roger’s past and more about time travel and

3) How Roger survived the bombing in the tube station in 1943.

Wow Great story - this novella is about Roger's dad, mainly and is a real tear jerker, especially if you've read An Echo in the Bone. Poor little Roger.
