Can't beat Wodehouse!

I listened to this as an audio book via Librivox and didn't really enjoy it. The stories were probably the usual wry observational P.G.Wodehouse fayre, but the narrator was so droll and slow I think I'd have been better investing my time reading it properly.

To that end, I downloaded the kindle version and tried reading a couple of the stories, but all I now heard was was the voice the librivox narrator reading aloud in my head and couldn't shake it.

Sorry if this review isn't very useful, as it's less about the content than the delivery, but only the last short story (the title of the book) was in any way interesting to me. The rest of it left me cold, in-fact I'm not sure I can recall any of them, either by name or content.

As usual, Wodehouse is hilarious. There's a wide variety of stories in here, all with his trademark humor and wonderful turn of phrase. I laughed out loud several times.

Some lovely little vignettes, most of them sweet and endearing, and a delightful introduction to Jeeves and Wooster.
