Oh Robert Kirkman, why do you keep making me your bitch? Is it not enough that I read your comics and watch your TV series, do you have to pull me in with you novels also? Each one, the comics, the TV shows and now the novels are about the same characters, but the story lines are different, so what happens to a character in one does not mean it will happen in the others. Mr. Kirkman I'm not sure if you are a marketing genius or the most evil bastard on the planet. All I know is I'm still reading/watching your stuff and loving it!

Good continuation of a fun series!

I thoroughly enjoyed this continuation of the series. While I feel the first book and the surprises within can't be beat, I would still recommend reading this instillation. A bit predictable from time to time, and occasionally heart-wrenching, definitely read this if you enjoyed the others.

Hui na da ging's ja ganz schön zur Sache! Obwohl ich immer noch nicht ganz mit Lilly warm bin, mag ich sie jetzt ein bisschen mehr! Bin gespannt wie die Serie denn enden wird :)

I've read the series in order and Lily's starting to be annoying. I do have the next 4 to read though.

Re-read in 2016.

While reading this series back to back it's interesting to see the repetitive use of certain words throughout each novel, like the author has a word-of-the-day he's using for each book. Does get a little tedious.

Lilly's change of perspective from wanting to overturn the governor to being his number one supporter and then onto being his demise just feels sloppy. Her relationship with Austin on the other hand feels a lot more realistic and natural, also heartbreaking.

I love being able to read the same story from a different point of view. For "The Walking Dead: The Governor series" it is written from the p-o-v of Brian Blake aka Phillip Blake (stolen identity) aka Governor and his Woodbury citizens.

Adds story and character depth and understanding.

Not enjoyable. Found it repetitive and boring.
