Five survive follows a group of six friends who are travelling in an RV cross country for their spring break. About halfway to thier destination the rv breaks down and they quickly realise it wasn't just an accident. Someone is in the woods, with a sniper and has shot out all four tyres.The shooter tells the group that they can get out of this alive if they just give up their secret. Of course, between the six of them, there are a lot of secrets.

I really wanted to like this because I love the good girls guide to murder trilogy but I didn't really get on with it unfortunately. It wasn't bad - the plot and pacing were great and it was a really tense read. I just didn't connect to any of the characters at all, the only one I liked was Red. I feel like this would have made a really good film but I'm not sure the format was suited to a book.

A bit underdeveloped. The characters and the story is confusing at times and I couldn't really bond with the characters since I couldn't get to know them properly.

For example the only thing I know about Reyna is that she's Oliver's girlfriend who had a whole another boyfriend.

They are too one dimensional so I only cared about the main character

and a little bit about Arthur but the relationship felt too pushy at times. It was like here is the couple that you should root for, are you rooting??

also

Oliver was really annoying so I was truly glad that he was the one who died. Also I felt much more sad for don and his wife then I felt for any of the kids and their lives.

Not her best work but at least it was fast.
