DNF. Tried three times to read it, it's going nowhere. There is only so many stupid decisions one girl can make.
Is it bad to say that I had liked this book, when Ever was all messed up? Well I did, the rest of it when she wasn't being all um best word for it is "cracked out" it was kinda dull and hard to get through but when she was obsessed with Roman, and all that I got through pretty quickly. I feel bad though for Ever and Damon not being able to touch each other must be rough, I'm hoping they can find a way to break that.

So what happened to Roman was pretty sad. And it looks like they are heading for a bright future. But this book was not as good as the others. It felt detached and like the author wasn't in it when she wrote it. It was good though, I liked the whole idea of everything that happened. I did expect more from this book, especially for how long I waited. But maybe I jst expected too much, but even so I am still excited for the last and final one! Hopefully they reverse the curse! ooooh that rhymed! lol
I started this series recently intrigued by the idea of that vampire immortal love trope but without the vampires, sadly with every book I found myself rolling my eyes more and more. Honestly I keep hoping the series will turn around but Dark Flame might be the last chance I can give this series The main character Ever just keeps to make the same mistakes and not learning from them. The rest of the characters just seem like unlikable floaters to me and the ending just feels like a cheap way to get in more books to the series
I words except- I had to force myself to finish this.
