I fell in love with the Satan’s Devils MC family from the very beginning so many books ago. Red has appreared in numerous books and now it’s his time for his own story. I love that book one of Red’s Peril gives us his history, one that we have never been privy to before. Like all books through out the SDMC series, you fall in lust with the biker and can’t wait for more. Waiting around for book 2 is gonna be hard, but I know if will be worth the wait.

This is a book I have been waiting for since Red was first mentioned and I was definitely not disappointed. I loved this story from the moment I started reading. I was hooked on Red and his story. He is one of those characters that is so easy to connect with . I wanted e eruthing to work out for him because of the journey he had already been on.
The story was fast paced and gripping. Thus is definitely one of my favourite books by this author, although I'm sure I say that about most if her books. I cannot wait for part 2!

Y’all. Manda Mellett can do no wrong. I’m telling y’all that. Every book I have read by them has allows evoked an emotional reaction and this one was no different. It’s gripping, emotional, and written so well that you can’t help but want the very best for Red. The worst part for me is that it’s a part one of two! But that’s also the best part so I can’t really complain TOO MUCH.
I have been looking forward to getting Red's story since he was introduced as a character in earlier books of Manda's. I really liked how we got his back story and got to see him grow from Prospect to President of the Vegas Chapter. It was a nice to see all the OG's in this book make an appearance and see how they started out and ended up where they are now in their roles.
I can't wait to see how Manda wraps Red's story up in book 2.

Oh what a book! I have read a few Satan's Devils MC books, but I have never before gotten such an intriguing and thorough look into a main character before. Seeing through Red's eyes, from his life before Satan's Devils and then through it was such an enjoyable ride. Though there was not a romance as the main plot, the book was not lacking in spice either. The plot twist at the end was hinted at, but still unexpected. All this resulted in me staying up way past my bedtime to not only finish this book, but start the next! I also really love how it touches on diversity, which was a pleasant surprise for a motor cycle club book! I love diverse representation, but have not come to expect it from this genre. Needless to say, this author has risen to be one of my very favorites and I fully intend to not only read all Satan's Devils MC books, but anything else by her!
If you are looking for action, spice, plot twists, a bit of mystery, close found family bonds, and great problem solving, definitely give this book a try. It does touch on some happenings in some of the other Satan's Devils MC books, so if you are a purist in your reading order, I would start from the beginning. If not, you will spoil some surprises along the way. Whichever way you read this series, the important thing is that you read it! I feel like by now, all the Satan's Devils members have become some of my closest friends, though fictional, haha.

I've been excited for this book so let's dive into another of Manda's world. Finding out about Red’s past is very eye opening. Learning from his POV and what led him to the club brings him to a new light. He's been through so much that man. Learning the background of the clubs is extremely interesting especially as we know a canny bit about the Tuscon Chapter of the Santan Devils. I didn't realise how Red had it so much and how quick things changed for him I can't wait to read the rest of. A bit of laughter but so many tears brought by this book.

We have met Red in a few of the other books and this time we are learning how he got his start with the Satan's Devils. I am in love with him. He is amazing in his own right. He has an amazing head on his shoulders and an uncanny ability to sense when something isn't how it should be. I can't wait to read the second part of his story. Watching him move through the ranks of an MC has been educational, fantastic, and part heart breaking but I really want to see him find his FOREVER.
