Great story about love, and conflict within oneself. You go on a journey to understand the life behind the main character and her family. As well as, watching her internal battle with her emotions and guilt for her actions. The ending was the hardest part of this book for me

Irgendwie mochte ich das sehr gern. Man konnte die Prota meiner Meinung nach sehr gut nachvollziehen, hab dieses hin & her in ihrem Kopf sehr gefühlt. Außerdem fand ich es mal spannend zu verfolgen womit Frauen auch im „höheren“ Alter strugglen & das es teilweise doch einfach ähnliche Probleme sind wie in jüngeren Jahren.

I read this for our book club. I found the beginning to be very slow but it picked up about 3/4. After our discussion and group questions, I found it more enjoyable.
