It's hot as hell. This is my favorite Off Campus novel. Dean is sexy and their interactions are hilarious. I actually read parts of this story to my husband because their verbal sparring had me in fits. And the bathtub scene? I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. The horror movie scene? KILLED ME! Dean and Allie are absolutely fantastic together and I love it. So far this is the only NA series I've enjoyed. The characters are very realistic as is the plot. The writing is great and the author manages to make any cheesy moments so funny that you don't even realize they're cheesy. Highly recommend.
Minor: Drug abuse and Drug use

All in all I loved the book: it made me giddy, made me full out laugh (at 2 am so thank you very much for that), it made me cry, it made me feel everything. (I never expected a book series about hockey players falling in love to make me cry, but here we are.)
I have to take away some points though, for the blatant heteronormativity, and the “I’m so masculine, I call people p***y” remarks that are sadly present in all the books in this series… (never liked that, never enjoyed that, cringe every time it happens, cannot effing stand it!) Oh and not to forget the over sexualization of wlw. It’s disgusting and harmful!

Allie Hayes is in crisis mode. With graduation looming, she still doesn’t have the first clue about what she’s going to do after college. To make matters worse, she’s nursing a broken heart thanks to the end of her longtime relationship. Wild rebound sex is definitely not the solution to her problems, but gorgeous hockey star Dean Di Laurentis is impossible to resist. Just once, though, because even if her future is uncertain, it sure as heck won’t include the king of one-night stands.
I didn’t expect to fall so deeply for Dean and Allie, but it happened. I also didn't expect this to get so heavy so definitely check the trigger warnings! But overall I was shocked by how lovable I found Dean and his relationship with Allie.
