it was okay but plot was pretty predictable, so -1 for that. otherwise i really liked the book!! it kept me hooked and i really liked seeing dean and his development. his backstory with miranda was very interesting and i loved reading about it. the cliffhanger though like whatt???

This book started as a great, fun, flirty, steamy read, and then it went on to rip my heart out and stomp on it. My heart broke for Dean and Allie, life got so real so sudden.

This book and series is really hyped up and loved on BookTok. Overall, I thought it was a good and fun read. I loved the contemporary, college romance and spice. I loved the continuation of characters. This book specifically had a powerful plot line about loss and grief and coping. However, I am only giving it 3.75 stars because it wasn't anything that really wowed me, especially considering the hype surrounding it.
