I really liked the hero of this, but I didn't think the story was as strong as the first book.

I do love a book with a man who has been a black-ops soldier because you KNOW it’s going to be hella good. He is like a ghost I love that he can be there and then poof up in smoke!

The battle between good and evil is in full swing, Jim, Eddy, and Adrian are determined to win but it’s not as easy as it seems.

I loved Grier, and her whole character, she had such a strong will and great head on her shoulders. Her idea’s and determination really make her relationship with Isaac believable.
Davina is one nasty B----------- But I love her character too because is she wasn’t the way she is then the books wouldn’t work.
The ENDING…….

I am really starting to warm up to the narration.

Another re-listen for me! This book was better than book one but I still loved them both. Isaac & Grier were awesome and so opposite! I love that the war between good & evil is happening while human life goes on. This series is so much fun and so unique!

Eric Dove is the Fallen Angels to me! He really does a great job on this series.

I actually read the ebook but this stupid phone app won't let me pick it

I went straight from Covet to Crave, going "I have to know WTF is going on!!"

Well, I was left with a few more questions, but I did get some answers. Eddie and Ad have me going "Um, dudes?" a few times.

You know, for something I was told was a smut book, I expected more smut. I LOVED that there ended up being a baby at the end. And that she found closure for her brother. I don't like that Devina won with Matthias, but Matthias was ready to die, in any way that he could. My heart broke for him at the end.

I'm liking Jim. He, honestly, reminds me A LOT of Butch, from The Black Dagger Brotherhood. Ad reminds me of V, and Eddie is reminding me of Hollywood, aka Rhage. It's nice to see a version of them as angels. What's weird is that I'm hoping that maybe, just maybe, a few of them will end up in the series. Trez did!

Definitely not for the weak of heart...twisted torture scene...

ok .... I wasn't expecting much from this book, since the first book in this series was really difficult for me to get into and I think I started and stopped it about 3 times before I finally just finished it. From the first pages I was totally into it! The characters were much easier to follow along and the story was great :)

I would have give this book four stars if it wasn't for the romance that seems to be shoehorned into an otherwise excellent story. I found the moral dilemmas faced by almost all of the characters to be more interesting than the insta-love story.

Also, J.R. Ward's penchant for weird abbreviations and product placement that is so prevalent in the Black Dagger Brotherhood books starts to creep into this series, which is so distracting!
