An okay read, but I didn't really care for it. Storyline was too obscure. Kept my attention while reading, but the jumping around POV wise made it easy to set down and forget.

Though I liked this book more than the first one, the story was a bit confused like Ward didn't know herself where to go, what to do. But in the end there was a sort of a happy ending, also I can't understand why it has to be a baby.

I have mixed feelings about this book.

I finally finished Crave and I think I struggled so much because this series doesn’t have my Black Dagger Brotherhood in it. I love Jim, but he is no Zsadist or V or even Butch. I think my other struggle was I usually listen to JR Ward books on audio and this one I physically read.

All in all, I did really enjoy this read. This series is a little darker than the BDB series I think. There was something that happened in the first book that I think was kind of glossed over and I didn’t catch it. It happened in this book to Jim and that kind of bothered me a little. The situation made me uncomfortable, but not enough to stop reading. It was kind of something that came out of left field and I just wasn’t ready for it. (TW for assault.)

The dynamic between Eddie and Adrian is awesome and I love them. Adrian very much reminds me of Lassiter in the BDB series. I am hoping he makes an appearance at some point!

I couldn't finish this one because I couldn't deal with the whiplash back and forth between characters. I love J.R. Ward, she is one my all time favorite authors but I couldn't focus in this book at all and I just couldn't finish it. I don't think I will try the next one.

3.5 stars, and I definitely love Isaac Rothe, thank you very much. What I think, for me, is the true draw of this series is the main plot that ties the books together. In true Ward fashion, they’re quick and easy to fly through!

This is getting interesting. I’m curious about Jim more than anyone else. Looking forward to seeing what the next book brings to the table.

I enjoyed this book, and in turn, this series more than I expected.

I just love J.R. Ward's no-nonsense writing. I love all her slang terms and pretty much everything about the way she tells a story. I'll even forgive her for getting my heart up into my throat. Reading her stuff just makes me so damn happy, I want to crawl inside the worlds she creates. I wanna stroll right up on that beautiful lush green lawn and give Nigel and the boys a piece of my mind! Only Ward can create something that feels so goddamn real that I have to keep reminding myself it isn't. I liked the love interests in this, probably because Issac is a lost cause and I am damn near the patron saint of them. There wasn't as much action in this as the previous book, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I definitely recommend checking this out.

I liked this better than the first one, but I'm still not impressed with this series.
