This book made me laugh, broke my heart, and then put me back together again. Spencer has had horrible luck with men in her life, and she is very protective of her children. Especially since her children’s fathers are not regularly in their lives. Cooper just got divorced, and the reason he left his wife really sets Spencer off when she finds out. These 2 have to figure out their place in each other’s lives again, but thankfully they figure it out!

Such a quick read and cute story. I think there could have definitely been a deeper story line which is why I gave a 3 ⭐️. Don’t get me wrong, I’m such a sucker for a single mom moves back home to fall back in love with her high school sweetheart, but the book moved to fast with their falling back in love and then it was over?

I wanted more backstory of Cooper and him bonding with the kids. There was WAY more the author could have done with Spencer, I feel like she moved back home and BOOM back in love with Cooper no issues etc… however I loved that bathroom scene and the fact that the next morning everyone in town already knew

Loved it!

As a momma bear of a foul-mouthed 2-year-old myself, I must say: I love this book. Very well developed, relatable characters- which is what I look for in a good love story!
